My plane ticket from Orlando to Detroit did not have the gate number for the continuing flight. There were instructions to check a monitor for the proper gate. I didn’t see a monitor close by, so asked a NW employee if she could give me the gate number. After giving me the gate number, she asked me if I wanted a wheel chair. My reply was not up to my usual witty self. I said, “no thanks”. I should have said, “ that won’t be necessary. I’ll just run down there”.
